For Finance & Accounting teams

When the GL integration fails, the books don’t close

ERPOps monitors every integration touching your financial data — GL postings, AP workflows, budget sync, intercompany transactions — and fixes failures before your auditors notice.

The 4 finance integration failures with the highest cost

Month-end close missed — GL integration timing out

Month-end close. 3 days left. 847 journal entries stuck between PeopleSoft and Oracle GL. Finance can't reconcile. Auditors are waiting. The CFO wants answers.

ERPOps: Detects the timeout pattern within 60 seconds of first failure. Identifies the specific transaction batch stuck in the queue. Correlates to a known Oracle endpoint configuration issue. Triggers the retry playbook automatically. Books close on time with a clean audit trail.

Audit findings risk

340 invoices in limbo — AP integration dropping records

High-volume AP period. Invoice records dropping between the procurement portal and your ERP during batch processing. Vendors are calling. Three are threatening to pause service delivery.

ERPOps: Detects the record count mismatch (1,240 invoices submitted vs 900 acknowledged). Identifies message queue overflow during peak load. Surfaces the batch size configuration fix. Invoices cleared within the same business day.

Vendor relationship risk

Budget decisions made on 3-day-old data

Hyperion/Adaptive sync to your ERP GL running silently on a schedule — until it's not. The last successful sync was 73 hours ago. Budget managers are allocating based on stale numbers. Nobody knows.

ERPOps: Detects sync staleness immediately (expected 4-hour cadence, last run 73 hours ago). Fires an alert before budget decisions lock. Identifies the authentication token expiry causing the silence. Data corrected before a single wrong allocation is made.

Budget accuracy risk

Intercompany eliminations failing — consolidation delayed

Multi-entity consolidation. Intercompany transaction data not reconciling between subsidiaries. Consolidation team can't eliminate intercompany balances. Consolidated financial statements delayed. External reporting deadline approaching.

ERPOps: Detects the reconciliation discrepancy between entity feeds, identifies the specific transaction types failing validation, surfaces the mapping configuration error causing the mismatch. Consolidation team has clean data 4 hours earlier than manual investigation would allow.

Financial reporting risk

Your finance policies, answerable in seconds

Upload your agency’s accounting policies, Chart of Accounts guides, AP procedures, travel and expense policies, and audit response templates to the ERPOps Knowledge Base. Finance staff ask questions in plain language and get cited answers from your actual policy documents.

Example questions finance staff ask:

  • "What is our agency's capitalization threshold for equipment?"
  • "Which object codes apply to software subscription purchases?"
  • "What documentation is required for a sole-source procurement over $250K?"
  • "What are our period-end cutoff rules for accruals?"
  • "Which fund codes are restricted to appropriated funds only?"

What is our capitalization threshold for equipment and software, and which asset category codes apply?

Per Section 6.2 of the Agency Accounting Policy Manual (updated January 2026), equipment with a unit cost of $5,000 or more and a useful life exceeding one year must be capitalized. Software (internally developed or purchased) follows a $100,000 threshold per OMB Circular A-11. Applicable asset category codes: 1400 (Equipment), 1410 (ADP Equipment), 1500 (Software).
